Clinton Friends of the Parks
This nonprofit organization was formed by a group of citizens in July of 2000 with the sole purpose supporting the Clinton Parks & Recreation Department. Since its inception, Friends of the Parks has supported both large and small scale projects like the Skate Park, the Aquatic Center, the 9-hole addition to the Disc Golf Course, new benches, Bark Park water fountain and our newest park, Kids’ World Playground. Whether it’s new equipment, park beautification or additions to our park system; Friends of the Parks has been a tremendous benefit to our community. It doesn’t end there, this organization also supports our programs by providing scholarships to ensure every child has an opportunity to be involved. Along with purchasing new equipment for all of the adult and youth programs and our Community Center.
