The Transfer Station is open to RESIDENTS IN THE CITY LIMITS ONLY.

Section 42-25 of City Code: Transfer Station Regulations.

a.  Fees for use of the City Transfer Station shall be set by resolution of the City Council annually.

b.  The use of the City Transfer Station shall be subject to the following rules and regulations:

1.  No materials not otherwise listed on the approved fee schedule will be accepted for drop off.

2.  No construction or demolition materials will be accepted from commercial sources, including rental properties. Any private residential demolition or construction waste must be bagged as indicated in the approved fee schedule.

3.  For large loads, as specified in the City’s approved fee schedule, the following additional requirements shall apply:
 
      • The person delivering the large load to the Transfer Station must present a government issued identification, utility bill, or property tax receipt demonstrating that the person generating the waste resides within or owns property within the City of Clinton.

      • The materials being dropped off must have originated within the City of Clinton.

      • No construction or demolition materials will be accepted in a large load.
c.  Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of an offense punishable under the Code of Ordinances.
