The City of Clinton, Missouri is provided sanitary sewer service by CITY OF CLINTON WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT. Day to day operations is under a contract with ALLIANCE WATER, which is a national water system & wastewater system consulting firm. This service is provided within the city limits of Clinton. The Wastewater Plane also manages the Compost Site.

Commercial Composter Permit
Pursuant to Sec. 42-28 of the Clinton City Code: Commercial Lawn Care Services must apply for a Commercial Compost Permit to use the City of Clinton Compost Site. The permit shall commence on October 1 of each year and shall expire on September 30 of the year following the date of issuance. The amount collected for a permit issued after April, shall be prorated by 50 percent as to the amount due for an entire 12-month period.
NO mulch or wood chippings will be accepted. The composting facility shall receive only grass clippings, leaves, limbs (less than 4 in. in diameter), brush, garden vegetation and similar yard wastes that originate from properties within the city limits of Clinton. Failure to comply is unlawful and will result in fines and loss of privileges.
